7: Do you read? If so, what are your three favorite books and why?

DO I.

1) Made to Stick, by Chip and Dan Heath
Incredibly intriguing book!  Breaks down the anatomy of ‘sticky’ ideas into Simple, Unexpected, Concrete, Credible, Emotional, and Story.  It pulls examples from Army generals, proverbs, car accidents, Martin Luther King Jr and racism, the Subway diet, and many many many more.  They definitely fine-tuned my view of the world, and to me partially explains why random ass shit like the “Bed Intruder” or Facebook or etc. is so popular.

2) Awaken the Giant Within, by Anthony Robbins
Most bookstores would probably classify this as a ‘Self-Help’ book, but I feel that doesn’t really do the book justice.  If you read the book and really apply it, it’s incredibly inspiring and life-changing.

3) Borrowing Brilliance, by David Kord Murray
Offers a very compelling and interesting breakdown of creativity.  Lots of diverse examples. I would say more but I am pretty tired..

All of these books made me want to share with everyone I know and ask, “why the hell don’t more people know this stuff?” (in a it’s-my-responsibility-to-share type of way).

^^ In no order

Other notables.. Tipping Point, Blink, A Wrinkle in Time, Change by Design, Wooden on Leadership, Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.
